This is the 1st of the 7 MOSS sponsored Altitude Limited Electric Soaring (ALES) contests for 2014

who: All are welcome, pilots, spectators, etc... Bring a friend!
what: Altitude Limited Electric Soaring (ALES), 200 meter cutoff altitude
when: Saturday April 26, 2014, Pilots meeting 9:30 AM, flying to begin shortly thereafter
where: Ohio Willow Wood plant; 15441 Scioto Darby Road, Mt. Sterling, Ohio 43143
             use the east entrance with parking behind the buildings

why: The main  theme is to have FUN!
awards: There will be some simple awards in addition to bragging rights

ALES is now an official AMA event,  the rules are now contained in the Official AMA Competition Regulations.  See section 4.25: Altitude Limited Electric Soaring (ALES) Event 631.  We are using a 200 meter cutoff altitude with 10 meter landing tapes, 5 points per meter Click HERE to view the detailed rules.

$8 entry fee, includes lunch
Free entry if this is your first ever ALES contest
Free entry if you are under 18 years old

This is not a AMA sanctioned contest, however, AMA and local safety codes and rules apply
Proof of current AMA Membership required to fly

Lunch of hot dogs cookies and water is provided, there will be a donation jar for those not entered in the contest that wish to eat with us
