2018 MOSS Sailplane Events
There are (6) Altitude Limited Electric Soaring (ALES) events, and (2) "after 6 PM winch launched" events.
In addition, we have tentatively scheduled ALES #0 on March 24, 2018 as weather permitting.
Please contact local club members before traveling to the ALES #0 event.

Most events are held at the Ohio Willow Wood (OWW) field, 15441 Scioto Darby Road, Mt. Sterling, Ohio 43143
The exceptions are the (4) ALES contests, as noted below, which are held at the DARTS field in Fairborn, OH
in June and September during the joint MOSS / DARTS ALES weekends.

AMA license required for pilots, spectators welcome. All pertinent AMA rules apply.
ALES will be flown with an altitude cutoff of 150 meters as Seeded Man on Man format for flight groups.
Flight scores normalized, then landing scores added.

Pilots meeting for all ALES events is 9:30 AM, round 1 starts shortly there after.
No entry fees, but there is a suggested donation of $10 for the ALES events to cover the lunch provided (hot dogs, cookie, water)

Local rules: No real-time altitude sensing devices allowed. (no varios)
